 Compatible models:

1. Mazda 6( 2002-2005 Pre-facelift) radio will be required to solder a jumper or a 0-ohm chip resistor at location L716 on the internal Circuit Board. This modification requires technical skill to do it. ( send us a messsage if you need more information in how to modify this)

2. RX-8 radio firmware version must be 9.55 or higher version ( Version 9.81, 10.1 & 10.55 are not supported).

To find out the firmware version of your radio : “ go to FM mode, hold “TEXT” and “Disk 1 “ buttons at the same time

for 10secs, your radio display will show up the firmware version. You might need to repeat a few time to get this firmware version.
